Most intestinal parasites are not visible in the pet’s feces. If parasites are detected, a proper dewormer will be prescribed. Heartworm and flea and tick prevention are also prescribed. We offer young adult wellness packages(for pets six years old and younger) that include bloodwork checking organ function and blood cell counts. Nutritional counseling may be done at this time as well. For our senior dogs and cats, over seven years of age, yearly bloodwork checking internal organ function, thyroid levels, and a complete red and white blood cell count is also recommended.
