About Dr. Amber Sheppard

Amber Sheppard, DVM, cVMA, is a 2013 graduate of Purdue University School of Veterinary Medicine and earned her undergraduate degree from Ball State University in 2009. She has been with MARS since its opening and has worked at our sister clinic, Middlebury Animal Clinic, for over a decade. In 2019, she became certified in veterinary acupuncture through CuraCore.

Dr. Sheppard’s favorite part of her work is connecting with clients and patients while building lifelong relationships. She lives in Goshen with her husband, Nick, and their daughter, Olivia. Their family also includes a yellow labradoodle named Winnie, along with two cats—Sophie, a Siamese, and Kevin, a Scottish Fold.

In her free time, Dr. Sheppard enjoys traveling, biking, hiking, exercising, and spending time with family and friends.
