About Dr. Amber Sheppard

Dr. Amber Sheppard is a 2013 graduate of Purdue University School of Veterinary Medicine and has been a valued member of the MAC team since 2013. In 2021, she became certified in veterinary medical acupuncture. Her professional interests include surgery and internal medicine. Dr. Sheppard especially enjoys building lasting relationships with her clients and their pets. Amber has been married to her husband, Nick, for 12 years, and together they have an 8-year-old daughter, Olivia. Their family also includes a labradoodle named Winnie and two Siamese mix cats, Sophie and Theodore. In her free time, she enjoys cycling, hiking, kayaking, and traveling. This past summer, she started a mini garden to nurture her green thumb.
